Our customer, an Automotive component manufacturer is mass manufacturing components of 4 production lines who was mandated by OEMs to implement:
- In-line measurement data collection using Connected inspection gauges (contact or non-contact types)
- Automatic reading of part serial number from 2D barcode engraved on metallic surface using connected 2D code reader
- Real-time SPC: Control charts, histogram, Cp, Cpk calculations.
- Real-time Alerts and Dashboards based on pre-configured SPC rules for data, sample validation
- Monitoring tool wear on their CNC machines and send automatic tool correction to the CNC machine
